Actor Prakash Raj has added his voice to the growing criticism against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent election rally speech, denouncing it as "cheapest oratory" and accusing the PM of being "naked and desperate for power." The speech in question, where PM Modi alleged that the Congress party aimed to distribute all the nation's wealth among Muslims and infiltrators, has ignited fierce debate and condemnation from various quarters.

Reacting to PM Modi's remarks, Prakash Raj took to social media to express his condemnation, stating, "SHAME … History will document this Cheapest Oratory ..No point in putting any sense into an Emperor …who he is Naked and Desperate for Power. First phase of voting has rattled him… just wait. People will teach him." His scathing critique reflects the mounting frustration with the political rhetoric employed by the ruling BJP government, especially in the heat of the ongoing elections.

The controversy didn't end with Prakash Raj's condemnation alone. Actress Shreya Dhanwanthary, without explicitly naming PM Modi, criticized what she perceived as a "propaganda of hate" being amplified. Similarly, Swara Bhasker chimed in, pointing out the economic concerns overshadowed by political rhetoric, while Siddharth drew parallels between PM Modi's speech and Rahul Gandhi's disqualification from the Lok Sabha.

It all began after during an election rally in Rajasthan's Banswara region, PM Modi stated, "When Congress was in power, they said Muslims have the first right to the wealth of the nation. Jinke zyada bacche hain, unko baatenge, ghuspaithiyon ko baatenge. Should you hard-earned money be distributed amongst infiltrators?""Bhaiyon aur behno, yeh Urban Naxal ki soch, meri mataon, behno, aapka mangal sutra bhi bachne nahi denge," he had stated.
